Here is my version that I worked on this week. I used a medium gray grunge for the background and neckties that belonged to my mom's father and his best friend. I added the outermost border to make it a little bigger

This vintage Dresden plate is one of my favorites for a wall hanging backed with canvas for my home decor projects.

So beautiful and can be used in many ways. I am thinking a doll quilt or a wall hanging. It also gave me another idea. My husbands father passed a couple of years ago and we have all of his ties. I may use them to make a quilt for my husband...that can be passed down to our grandson in the future. But, on this quilt, the fabrics chosen show just how beautiful a mini quilt can be. Will check back for photoss!

This pattern is very clearly written and easy to follow instructions. I used a Chloe's Closet 30's fabric layer cake with the centre circle fabric an unknown scrap.
