This Tiny Toadstool Quilt Block Tutorial pays homage to the world of the enchanted. Quilting tutorials like this are extremely fun because they are great for beginners and the result is always adorable. This little cutie can be used as a mug rug or anything else your imagination suggests. The block itself is simple and can be implemented in scrappy quilts or pillows.

Great pattern to make to use with your elf or gnome figures. I love the red and white colors, but might change the toadstool "stump" color to red or white instead of brown. It would be a very cute mug rug too. What other colors would you consider trying? Pastels or jewel tones?

I just adore this pattern. I have always loved toadstools and never thought to make a quilt with one on it!
