Very pretty quilt that does not look very complicated to make. I like that you could change the color of the fabric to use scraps if you wanted or use another color "theme". The pattern is striking against the bright white background too. If you made this quilt in blue fabrics, you could call them "bow ties" for a masculine quilt.

I made this for my new great niece - the new mom LOVED it! I used a minky back with embroidered monogram then "Tied" quilted by zigzagging in the corners of the blocks, the stitches were hidden on the back by the texture of the minky.

It's wonderful, nanalovesquilting 2344611!

I believe I remember someone calling this a spool quilt. Because it looks like sewing spools from the thread.
