Are you searching for your next spring quilt pattern? Try making this lovely Garden Gate Charm Quilt that makes for a wonderful DIY picnic quilt or a lovely throw quilt on chillier evenings!

From the Blogger: "Spring into action by making this adorable, beginner-friendly charm quilt. We like to use pre-cuts because they save time. They are also an economical way to use all the colors and prints in an entire fabric line. This quilt would also work well as a “stash buster”. Cut up several fat quarters of coordinating prints and use some of that yardage you’ve been saving. This quilt is the perfect size for a picnic in the park or your front porch swing!"

Very pretty quilt that makes me think of spring and since today is a gray day, this thought makes me happy! The colors and interesting border really catch the eye and this type of quilt is generally not to difficult to achieve. Using up your scrap stash would be a big bonus too, if you don't want to use pre-cut fabrics. Of course that choice would add some time to making the quilt, but you would be using your own fabric stash, freeing up space in your sewing room for more fabric. Looks like a really fun project!
