Chilling out on a breezy day is only a few steps away with this simple Cool Color Checkered Quilt pattern. It is a big craft for the beach, but making it is very simple. Go ahead and buy coordinating colors to recreate the sea glass theme, and arrange them however you want using the piecing technique. Toward the end of the project, you can trace around the edges of a bowl to give the quilt a nice, rounded appearance. You'll have the most eye-catching quilt on the beach with this simple patchwork quilt tutorial.

This quilt is so simple, but the colors of this quilt are what make it stand out. I love the different shades of blues and greens it really does give the appearance of sea glass.
