Make a cute skirt for your favorite little reader. This Bookworm Skirt features appliqued books on an elastic waist skirt. You can make this simple skirt without a pattern and use up some of your fabric scraps at the same time. Vary the heights and patterns of your scraps, and this adorable garment will look charming. You can experiment with book placement, keeping some of the spines vertical while laying others horizontally. This tutorial also provides tips for measuring and cutting the skirt for any size waist.
