What a beauty of a quilt! I love quilts that look so complex and then when you break it down, it's really not that difficult. The colors in this are gorgeous. I love the earthy combo. What other combos do you think would look nice with this pattern? I'm thinking some blues, greens, and yellows could be very nice. It's so great that a jelly roll can be used, they really take the guess work out of coordinating fabrics!

I finally completed my Road to Oklahoma quilt after a year of working on it a little bit at a time. I uploaded the photo above and if you click on it, you can see a larger version. I also have a link here with more of the story behind the quilt https//plus.google.com/u/0/112872822175595239667/ == posts/B7es1yTWPdu

I made this quilt using two animal print and two black jelly rolls. Deciding I wanted a larger quilt, I added 3 add prints (1/3 yd ea) and another yd of black. This is a complicated quilt and my fabric made it harder. I used nested seams, chain piecing and a streamlined way of making 1/2 triangles I learned from a half square triangle challenge. I haven't finished quilting it yet, but I plan to quilt each panel and then sew them together. Haven't decided how to do the final sashing/binding yet.
