I was looking for a pattern to use up a mound of 4-patches that came out of "Leaders-Enders" and thought this one might be a good fit. I had to adjust my plan to compensate for the size of my blocks as I primarily use 2.5" strips and my blocks came out larger than the original pattern. I also struggled a bit with the sashing so I left out some of the nine patches along the edges. In the end, I really liked my version and hope to do others like it in the future when my pile of 4-patches gets out of hand again. It made a wonderful gift for a dear friend!
