If you love dressing the turkey on Thanksgiving, then you’ll love creating this Turkey Quilt Block. This project will show you how to paper piece a Thanksgiving quilt pattern that features the star of your Thanksgiving meal. Dress Tom the turkey in traditional brown and grey colors, or choose a more flamboyant paper piecing pattern like purple or aquamarine. Created using 30-degree wedges, the resulting geometric turkey pattern looks quite majestic and impressive. After eating platefuls of turkey, cuddle up in this 'feathery' quilt and take a nap. This block pattern would also be great for a panel quilt.
