Regenerate Quilt Block
"As you're probably aware, Australia is suffering with a bushfire crisis. This type of natural disaster isn't uncommon, though the scale and ferocity in which the fires are burning is mind-blowing. As a crafty community, people all over the world have been busily making items for injured animals and donating quilts to distribute to people who have lost everything. A local quilt guild is collecting tree blocks to make quilts for those who've lost everything which was why I decided to create and share this block for anyone interested in making one for a charity, or just for themselves."

Thank you to the FAVEQUILTS community for the REGENERATE quilt block. I live in Perth Western Australia. Even though we have had our own bushfires, nothing like those of our countrymen in the eastern states. They have lost 10's of thousands of hectares of land, natural and farming and millions of our marsupials, birds and flora. We as a nation appreciate any help from any country to help get these now homeless communities on their feet again. As we have done in the past with other countries in similar situations. Anneke
