I am a huge fan of fusible applique and I think this little songbird is just darling. I love the sun and how it was done with trapunto. That adds a very nice touch. For fusible web paper I like to use Thermo Web Heat N Bond Lite. I like the way it fuses. You do have to mirror image the templates but that doesn't really bother me much. I would make a wall hanging as well, I wouldn't go full on quilt with this. That's just a personal preference.

Very cute pattern for a song bird applique that would be very nice as a pillow cover or a wall hanging. I don't think I would make a large quilt with this pattern though. The pattern has been updated to include a ready to use fusible web mirror image of the pieces needed. How very nice to have this already done-just print out the sheet and trace. Super cute and fun to make!
