Just asking, but does anyone ever win any of the quilt pieces in the giveaways. I have tried for everyone of them available, spent countless time filling out their stupid survey while I have to wait to complete entry, each one says I have been entered, but not once have I gotten any of them.. I just cant imagine that many people who enter these contests

I like the pattern of this quilt and admire people who can effectively use orange. I am okay with the color for someone else, but it does not fit with our dcor in our 1927 farmhouse! I do like the pattern, so I would make it using different colors. I think it would look great in blues, greens, and pinks! What colors would you use?

I love this because I feel like orange is a color you don't really see in quilting that much, but I love how it gives this project a 1970s vibe. It's such a fun color palette for strip quilting.
