Stairway to Heaven Pastels Pattern
This free quilting pattern offers a unique take on a popular quilting tradition. Using one jelly roll and one layer cake in order to create a step quilt, the Stairway to Heaven Pastels Pattern combines the chic look of a geometric quilt with the soft hues of muted floral prints. Created out of one block that is sewn together over and over again and rotated, this pattern is a lot easier to assemble than it looks. The final pattern would make a fantastic bed quilt for kids, but you could easily expand it to make something a bit bigger.

This truly is a super lovely quilt and I like the fact that it is a beginner quilt, but looks more complicated. I think this would be a great pattern to use to learn to quilt. By creating the same block over and over, you would undoubtedly become quickly proficient. And it is amazing to think that by simply rotating the block, you can make this quilt look so great.

Still have the binding to go, but I loved doing this one, made it a bit smaller for baby quilt
