Ive been wanting to make a large tree skirt for quite some time. I liked that this pattern seemed simple enough for a novice quilter like myself. Not having 32 scraps of Christmas fabric, I one yard each of 6 fabrics. Each yard yielded 5 wedges=30 wedges. I purchased 3 2/3 yards of backing and cut 2 wedges. I sewed the 2 one to each end of skirt. I made a scrappy binding. I loved how it turned out.
