How to Sew the Chain Stitch

Chain Stitch Embroidery Instructions

  1. Bring your needle up at the beginning of your line.

  2. But your needle back down about a thread or two away from where you came up.

  3. Don't pull your thread all the way through to keep a loop.

  4. Pull your needle back up on your line and pull snug but not tight.

  5. Bring the needle back down a thread or two away from where you came up.

  6. Repeat.
