The Hundred Hugs Baby Quilt is an incredibly easy baby quilt pattern that you can make with a variety of small charm packs or a jelly roll. Piece together similar colored squares, and then give your quilt a border of half square triangles. Make this quilt in shades of pink for a girl or shades of blue for a boy. Nine patch quilt block patterns are very popular right now, and you can learn how to change your quilting routine with this easy variation. Love, love , love this pattern. It is a great scrap buster. Made both a pink and blue one for charity, mixing in a few novelty fabrics themed to either girl or boy. This designer has other adorable baby quilts on her site that I can't wait to make.

I made the hundred hugs quilt but used the pattern to create a king size quilt. I used 2.5 inch squares. This made the hundred hugs square 20 inches. I made 12 squares then added borders. It turned out beautifully.

I am on my 3rd and 4th one hundred hugs Quilt. Check out the web site for this quilt. There are others that have made them and pictures are posted. Sr. Mary Pat, C.R.
