A Travel Quilt

"While traveling in our RV we take lots of pictures. Mendocino is a quaint coastal seaside village in Northern California I wanted to take some of the photos and incorporate them with a traditional quilt pattern to make a wall hanging. I was able to use eight photos in four squares. For the header I used fabric paint for the lettering, then appliquéd flowers around it. I put a border to offset each square, then framed the entire quilt with another border. The fabric colors reflect the blues of the seascape and the beautiful spring flowers in the photos."

NotesThis quilt is an invitation to creativity. Any trip can become a lifetime keepsake and a beautiful adornment to any wall.
