Get yourself a couple of charm packs and a few strips of a black jelly roll and you are well on your way. This quilt uses half-square rectangles to make the beautiful diamond shapes. If you're new to half-square rectangles, this tutorial makes it very clear. Once you understand them, the rest is easy to put together. All steps in this tutorial are easily chain-pieced.
