Smoky Mountain Stars Quilt

Comment On This Article

The Smoky Mountain Stars Quilt, unlike most star quilt patterns, features diagonal rows of stretched out stars. The stars are an optical illusion created by triangles sewn onto the corners of each square in this quilt. You can easily make this quilt using scraps, as long as you have plenty of plainer background fabric to fill in between stars.
