Quilted mug rug patterns are a simple way to use up leftover strips of your favorite fabrics. One side of the Java Reversible Mug Rug uses longer horizontal strips of fabric, while the opposite side uses shorter vertical strips. A fusible applique that reads "java" finishes off the piece! Strip quilt piecing isn't very difficult or a terribly long process, so you'll be able to make multiple versions of this mug rug pattern for everyone in your home in no time.
