Auld English Mug Rug Tutorial Part 1: Paper Piecing

Part 1 of this Auld English Mug Rug Tutorial will have you pulling out your Earl Grey tea with a British flourish. It is a mini DIY quilt made by piecing freezer paper, and it is perfect for tea time because it keeps your crumpet and biscuit crumbs off of the table. If your mug overflows, the mug rug will keep it from staining your polished surfaces. After all, you have better things to do than clean the house.

I think it would be helpful to have a picture of the finished project at the beginning.

I think it would be good to show a sample of a finished one so I could decide if I'd like to make it.

Hi Karen, There is a picture of the finished quilt shown in part 3. Jackie x
