MATERIALS:

  • 1-1/2 yds. CX4061 Bloom Zoology
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1-1/2 yds. CX4826 Gray Sweet Posie
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1/2 yd. CX3137 Bloom Play Stripe
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1/4 yd. CX2490 Bloom Dumb Dot
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1/4 yd. CX2490 Blush Dumb Dot
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1/4 yd. CX2490 Petal Dumb Dot
    Zoology Bubbles Baby Quilt
     
  • 1/4 yd. CX2490 Blossom Dumb Dot

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. From the top fabric listed (CX4061 Bloom):
    Cut one 10-1/2" x length of fabric
    Cut one 20-1/2" x length of fabric
     
  2. From CX4826 Gray:
    Cut one 10-1/2" x length of fabric
     
  3. From CX3137 Bloom:
    Cut three 1-1/2" x width of fabric
    Piece the strips together to make two 1-1/2" x 54" strips
     
  4. Hand applique four sizes of circles, ranging in diameter from 1-1/2" to 3-1/2" in the various Dumb Dob fabrics, scattered on the small flower fabric (CX4826 Gray). Look around your house for assorted round objects to come up with the patterns. Anything goes!
     
  5. Stitch the quilt top together row by row as shown in the photo.
     
  6. Layer the quilt top and backing (CX3136 Play Dot) with your choice of batting and quilt as desired.
     
  7. From CX3137 Bloom, cut five 2-1/2" x width of fabric strips for binding. Sew strips end to end and press wrong sides together for French Fold binding.
