Basket Weave Free Motion Quilting
This quilting tutorial will show you how to do a Basket Weave Free Motion Quilting technique. The basket weave is popular among hand and machine quilters because it is a great, easy way to fill in any background. The grid pop is more popular amongst machine quilters. With the grid pop technique, every other box is filled in so that the open squares "pop." These free motion quilt patterns will surely add texture and flair to any quilt. Oh, I just love this! I recently purchased a long arm machine and I'm always looking for ideas to practice. I never would have thought of the echo on the straight lines of the grid but it adds so much to it! I can't wait to check out her other designs. I'm also a big fan of marking my quilts but struggle with finding the right marking tool. What are some of your favorites that disappear easily with water?
