In this video tutorial, Nancy Zieman and Natalie Sewell demonstrate the process of creating foliage in landscape art quilts. The tutorial focuses on replicating the effect of shaded trees and foliage in a small section of the landscape quilt design. Nancy and Natalie use mottled batik fabric to simulate the depth of a forest, oil crayons to create tree bark, and "messy cut" foliage fabric to mimic branches full of leaves.
